Alhamdulillah I am doing well and grateful for being alive and happy 🌸

  • Name three good things that happened to you in the past few days

1.In the past few days I am learning the importance of gratitude. 2. Reading and learning more about my religion and life in general and 3. trying to understand how people feel in order to be able to relate more with them.

  2. Jazakillahu khayr katheeran for nominating me for this award, Azeezat. It is an honour! For the answers to your questions:
    1. Why did you get into blogging? I got into blogging because I have always wanted to write a book on my life experiences and the little lessons I have learnt from them. But since I wasn’t in a position to do so at that time, I decided that the next best thing to do was to blog about it.
    2. A little bit about your blog. My blog is basically about Faith, hope and redemption as you have so lovingly put it. I chose that tagline because I believe that what helps us to get through life are those three things. Faith because our purpose in life is to worship Allah. Hope because that is what helps us to keep trying no matter the difficulties we face. Redemption because we would keep making mistakes and the best thing we can do about it is to do good deeds to redeem ourselves.
    3. Your favourite resting or vacation point. My bed 😁 Just kidding! But really though, a nice book is my comfort zone and my resting place.
    4. Do you like spicy food? Yes, definitely.
    5. A quote you love. Hmm… there are a lot of quotes I love. But at this moment, I’ll say this one; “The heaviest load which burdens a servant is that of his sins whereas the lightest load is that of repentance. Why does he not then resort to repentance to rid himself of the sins which burden him?” -Zubdah (Sifatus Safwah vol. 1, pg. 577)
    6. Would you rather be invisible or read people’s mind and why? I would rather be invisible. Knowing people’s thoughts is scary. I really don’t know why I would prefer to be invisible. I just do.
    7. What do you do to keep you moving in life? Hmmm… I think reading an Islamic book helps me to keep moving on in life.
    8. A person you admire. There are so many people I admire. Among the sahabiyat, I would say Aishah, radiallahu anha. Among the people today, I would say Nai’ma B. Roberts.
Thank you so much once again. Have a lovely day! ❤❤

    1. Wa iyyaki Khayra, 🥰

It’s a pleasure to nominate you! You write well and inspiring stories and your good works needs to be recognised. I enjoyed reading your response to the nomination questions 💯. They are detailed and you should consider writing about it on your blog toooo!

I have written some comments regarding your questions.

Writing a blog is about sharing stories and I completely agree with your opinion on sharing life lessons with people.

The quote you love at the moment speaks volume 🔊. And I learnt from it. Repenting definately rids one of burdens and it serves as a means of purification. May Almighty Allah make us constantly engage in this act of worship and May He accept it from us and rid us of our worries. Amen.

I also can’t imagine able to read people’s mind, the cons outweighs the pros and there is definitely a lot of dangers associated with it.

Honestly, reading Islamic books helps one copes with lives. Especially when the book is using people’s life experiences to explain with reference from the Qur’an and Sunnah.

Mother Aisha (May Almighty Allah) be pleased with her) is one of my favourite role models and reading her life story on how she had a thirst for knowledge and taught people. Her courageous nature and other good attributes inspires me to strive to seek knowledge to be able to teach others. I will look to learn more about Nai’ma B. Robert’s as I followed some of her Ramadan Series with Eman channel.

I wish you also a lovely day and the best in all you do x ❣
